Charity/Bikini Car Wash 2011

One of my resolutions for 2011 is to “Help community in multiple, creative ways.” I think I definitely accomplished the creativity part on Saturday, by attending and participating in my first bikini car-wash, with all proceeds going to the Make A Wish Foundation. The group raised a total of 350 dollars for the kids and had an absolute freakin’ blast while doing so.  We danced, we sang, we chit-chatted and giggled, we advertised by standing on the sidewalk and waving our signs proudly in the air, we shared a lot of fun induced by soap and water…..and oh yeah, we washed a heck of a lot of cars too. Knowing where all of the money was going just made the day that much better. Big thanks to Miss Shannon for hosting the event and Auto Zone for letting us take up parking space and being a bad-ass and fun group of dudes in the process. Pictures:

    Fun/shmexy pics! 350 bucks that’s AWESOME! ❤ you!!

ps answer my question i texted you =] you don't have to right now but don't forget about it haha

    • Sam Posted on absolutely aeregd it’s probably more appropriate to have a Best Idea Executed Across More Than One Channel, Including At Least Two Digital category or if you want to be succinct Most Versatile Idea but you’ve got me thinking about how best to evaluate integration

  2. I see you are not using a proper chamois which would, in my opinion, result in a low quality sheen. I for one won’t be going to that particular car wash.

  3. Haha that sounds like a lot of fun! I bet it was a good way to spend the day outside (water/bikini), because it’s been brutal here lately!

      • Bought this after comparing and deatberliing over more professional and expensive models and I’m glad I did! The kit contains everything you need for a good few sessions of both standard and brazilian waxing and a CD with simple instructions for each.Of course, it’s not perfect:The two temperature alternatives are not enough you need to switch back and forth to keep the optimum temperature but that’s not the end of the world. Also, the pot of soft wax doesn’t fit in the machine (well, only about a third does, so I didn’t try heating it this way) so you have to transfer some into one of the little pans. This is pretty messy and almost impossible unless you first heat the whole tub! Perhaps you could do this in a microwave but I don’t have one, so I used a pan of water on the stove. I’m hoping that if I buy another brand of wax it will be smaller and fit in the warmer without emptying out but I have yet to find out!
