A really good place to be

I can’t believe this year is already more than half-way over. My elders always told me this would happen; But for the first time, I’m really noticing it. The older you get, the faster time flies. Four months until 2013. Six months until I’m 24. A year and a half until my early twenties ARE GONE FOREVER! Don’t roll your eyes at me! I know, I know. I’m still young and all but….I was twenty yesterday! Really! I’m simultaneously just trying to take it all in and do everything at once. To soak up my last bits of college life before I start my first big-girl job at Dell. To work on as many projects and plans as I can handle and enjoy at once. To love on my friends, who are always oh-so-good to me. To love the small moments too: A good book, a glass of red wine, hugs and kisses from the twins I nanny. To take time to feel proud of my accomplishments and how far I’ve come. To look at my husband, our home and this life we’ve built together and feel overwhelmingly happy. Loved. Grateful. Blessed. Excited to see what comes next. Those words explain where I’m at right now. It’s a really good place to be.

On that note,

Photos from my latest shoot:

Eric (Rik Austin) is an incredibly talented photographer, and I am completely honored and blown away to have had the chance to work with him.

Life, in general, blows me away. I like it a lot.

  3. Oh girl, I know what you mean! I turned 25 this summer and it hit me hard. I am now officially closer to 30 than 20. YIKES! Trying not to think about it, haha! I really still think I’m 21 most of the time. I’m not sure where time is flying off to! Anyway, you are beautiful, friend! 🙂
